Besides being a passionate Image Professional, in my spare time I find much pleasure in working with textiles. I am a dressmaker, knitter (hand and machine), spinner, dyer, felt-maker and ‘beginner’ weaver and increasingly mix disciplines in my designs. I am a member of the Online Guild and Alsager Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers and my work has been selected for National Exhibition. I am renowned for the fineness of my work and my meticulous attention to detail.  

I believe I was actually born with needles in my hands and one of my first memories is of being drafted in by my teacher in my junior school to help others with their knitting of a green pixie hat.

I am an experienced tutor with a postgraduate certificate of education. I run workshops during the year and am also happy to teach 1 or 2 or larger groups of 12/15 (depending on the topic).  I tailor all talks/presentations to the needs of the audience which will be as interactive as the circumstances allow.
